Time flies when...

Wow, I can't believe it's been over a month since I made a post. Some of you know by now that the week at Action went very well and we were commissioned on Friday September 12th to be full-time missionaries to the Micah Project. Praise God!

Since then we have put the pedal to the metal to get everything done before we leave. We had a wonderful group of people give up a couple of Saturdays in September to work on the outside of our house which will go on the market February 1st. We are buckling down on our Spanish and Brian is taking 16 credits until early next year when he'll have to carry 28 for a full term to get done before we go.

Plans have changed a bit as we are now looking at being in country July 1st. The 2 missionaries currently serving at Micah are leaving, possibly in August and September, and so that there will not be a disruption in the ministry there needs to be a 4-6 week overlap so we can get somewhat up to speed before they are gone.

Brian will be in Tegucigalpa November 5-12 for the Micah boys graduation (high school) and to meet with the Micah Project Board of Directors who will also be attending. He will present the vision to date and curriculum for the vocational school to the Board, and also be connecting up with the key individuals from the automotive industry that he met with in June. The airport in Tegucigalpa was closed in May due to a fatal crash but has now been reopened to large commercial aircraft. Pray for safe travels.

We are very excited that Michael Miller will be here in Portland in January for the Missions conference and to share his story with our church. He'll be doing a Nightstrike and, most likely, visiting local churches that we are seeking support from.

Thank you so much all of you for your love and support. To our "management team", we are so humbled and blessed by your sacrifices of time, talent, and finances that is enabling us to go. May God continue to bless you and guide us on the path He has laid out before us.

Love and blessings,

Natasha
