Merry Christmas!

Isaiah 9:6

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The boys and I had a two day baking extravaganza!  Most are new recipes and all are very tasty.  We have eggnog cookies, cinnamon roll cookies, strawberry and mango linzer ribbons, chocolate toffee bars, rocky road brownies, almond thins, and oatmeal turtle jumbles.

Mmmmmm.  Sugar coma.

And we have kittens!  Brian saved a little kitten from the streets back in March or April and silly me, I thought she was too young to have babies, "planning" on getting her spayed.  That is now on the agenda for January and in the meantime we have these two little cuties to add to our menagerie.

Mercielaga and U-Turn
Tonight we're going to experience our first Micah Christmas including the 9:00 pm dinner and midnight fireworks and gift opening.  Tomorrow morning I'm sure my boys will be up bright and early to open their gifts here at the house.

From all of us, to all of you, have a blessed and joyful Christmas!
